Hakkahan’s literal translation means ‘man from Hakka’ which is the region in China from which our owners come from. Our aim in Hakkahan is to cook Chinese food well in a casual dining setting. Our menu is small (by Chinese restaurant standards) and is dominated by Sichuan dishes with a smattering of influences from elsewhere.
Provenance is very important to us and we work with some of the best suppliers to ensure the consistency of our ingredients. Our foods have been paired with a selection of local to world beers and spirits.
