The crew from The Woollen Mills and The Winding Stair are thrilled to be bringing some of our love, laughter, lamb, and lemons to the gorgeous and leafy suburb of Glasnevin. We already feel welcomed to the community and are busy sourcing, cooking and tasting. The Washerwoman is on Glasnevin Hill (called locally Washerwoman's Hill due to the local story of many washerwomen out on the hill with their mangles etc washing clothes in the Tolka river!). It's been a well-loved and treasured restaurant in the area for years now, and is housed in a charming stone cottage which dates in part from 1700.
