Tucked away on Harcourt Street in the heart of Dublin city, 1900 Restaurant offers a warm and stylish setting for private dining that suits any occasion. The kitchen's menu blends Irish cuisine with French influence, created by the restaurant's Head Chef and built around the freshest local ingredients, sourced from surrounding farms and Irish markets to keep every dish authentic and full of flavour.
Whether you're planning a family celebration, a corporate event, a drinks reception or a birthday, the private dining team at 1900 Restaurant knows how to make it memorable. Events are led by Kevin Geer, whose experienced team is well versed in hosting gatherings of all sizes, from intimate dinners to large scale celebrations. The venue comfortably accommodates up to 85 guests, with capacity extending to 120 by opening up the Georgian Bar for larger parties.
Set menus are designed by the Head Chef and change regularly to reflect the best of what's in season. Past favourites have included a rump of Irish lamb served with potato fondant, carrot purée, baby carrots, sugar snap peas and spinach, finished with a minted lamb jus, as well as pan fried sea bass with potato gnocchi and burnt leek for those who prefer seafood.
Leave room for dessert too, with homemade treats such as sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce, or the restaurant's signature 1900 chocolate mousse, served with chocolate sauce, chocolate soil, raspberries and gingerbread ice cream.
